Everywhere I Go, I GO

I had an epiphany; I am the common denominator in every situation that I face.

For example do you notice that people are always smiling at you? If so it is likely that you are exuding friendliness, a pleasant demeanor, warmth and even love!

Do you notice that people are drawn to you, they are always talking to you sharing news concerning personal and private matters? It’s possible that you project trustworthiness and empathy.

On the contrary, do you find that people seem to avoid you? Are you the last to know about serious issues that are going on in a person’s life? Are you consciously or unconsciously demonstrating an inability to keep confidences or a lack of concern for others? Finally, do you find that wherever you go you have to tell someone off, other people just don’t get it, they are stupid? Then just maybe you are demonstrating arrogance, low frustration tolerance and perhaps a lack of concern for others.

Think about it, everywhere you go, you go.

Am I suggesting that you don’t go anywhere, stay locked up in your home? God forbid!

I am suggesting that you bring forth the “you” that you want others to know.

Do people smile at you, great, keep smiling back. Do people avoid you, trying smiling at them.

Go out of your way to see how someone is doing. How do you do that... ask them and really want the answer. Hi, how are you doing today? Wait for the answer. Maybe, just maybe you’ve been so caught up in yourself that you forgot that others have needs too. Maybe just maybe, the things that have annoyed you, have little to do with the other person and more to do with your own insecurities.

I am asking you to be brave, bold and courageous! Try something different. If you have been struggling and wanting to have things a different way, then you haven’t anything to lose.

Next time you walk in a room, choose who you are bringing with you, the friendly, kind and loving person or the one that's not.

You decide, but remember, everywhere you go, you go!
